Opportunity Assessment

Find out what your pipeline can carry before you spend anything on it.

Six questions about the area you work, the volume you can action and what happens to an enquiry after the first call. The result is calculated on this page, in your browser, and shown to you before anyone asks who you are.

Diagnostic

Six questions, one at a time.

Answer honestly rather than optimistically. An overstated response time produces a plan that fails in week two, which helps nobody.

Pipeline Readiness Diagnostic

Nothing leaves this page while you answer. Scoring runs in your browser.

  1. Question 01 / 06 What kind of pipeline are you trying to build?

This decides what a first test should be. It carries no points.

  2. Question 02 / 06 What does your area actually look like?

Area size decides how narrow the first campaign has to be. It carries no points.

  3. Question 03 / 06 Roughly how many new enquiries could you actually action in a week?

Capacity, not ambition. A smaller honest number produces a better plan than a large hopeful one.

  4. Question 04 / 06 How quickly can a new enquiry realistically be called?

The realistic case, not the good day.

  5. Question 05 / 06 Who owns follow-up once the first call is done?

Second and third attempts are where mandates are won or lost.

  6. Question 06 / 06 What happens to an enquiry after the first call?

Where the record lives decides whether the enquiry can be found again in three weeks.

Your details Where should the area plan go?

Five fields. Your six answers travel with them, so the first conversation starts from what you have already told us.

A property enquiry gets returned by phone. This is the only reason we ask.

Leave it and you get a copy of exactly what you sent.

Preselected from your first answer. Change it if you disagree.

How this is scored

Four of the six questions carry points. Pipeline type and area size change what we would recommend, not how ready the practice is, so they score nothing.

Bands: 8–10 Strong · 4–7 Workable · 0–3 Fragile. 10 is the maximum. There is no hidden weighting, no percentage, and no score out of one hundred — three bands is as precise as six answers can honestly be.

A twenty-field contact form asks you to invest first and find out later whether it was worth it. This inverts that.

After you send it

What actually happens next.

Stated plainly, because the gap between submitting a form and hearing from anyone is where trust is usually lost.

  1. 01

It reaches a person, not a queue

The enquiry is delivered straight to GatorScale. There is no call-centre layer between you and whoever reads it.

Delivery is logged, so a submission that fails is visible to us rather than silently lost.

  2. 02

You get a copy, if you left an email

A confirmation of exactly what you submitted goes to the address you gave. If you left the email field blank, nothing is sent to you.

Email is the only optional field on the form.

  3. 03

We read the area against the test

Your recommended first test is checked against how that specific area behaves. Two agents with identical answers in different suburbs do not get the same plan.

Area Intelligence covers the variables this uses.

  4. 04

You get a build, or a reason not to

We come back with what we would run, what it needs from you operationally, and what it costs in Rand. If the answers rule out a sensible campaign, we say that instead of selling one.

No obligation attaches to submitting the assessment.

Measured claims only

Typical time to first response. Not published. We have not measured it across enough enquiries to state a number we would be willing to defend, and an invented one would be worse than no number.

Your data

What we do with this, and what we do not.

What is stored
Your name, phone number, optional email, area and focus. Your six answers and the readiness result. The page you arrived from, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed.
What it is used for
Preparing your area read, and contacting you about it. That is the whole purpose.
What it is not used for
Your details are not sold and are not passed to other agencies. You are not added to a mailing list you did not ask for. The privacy policy is the binding version of this paragraph.
Consent and withdrawal
The consent checkbox is required because contacting you without it would not be lawful under POPIA. It can be withdrawn by replying to any message we send. See the data-processing note.
Spam handling
One hidden field and a rate limit. There is no CAPTCHA on this page and no third-party script reading what you type.

Why this instead

Why this replaces a contact form.

The two collect roughly the same amount of typing. They do not produce the same thing.

The usual

A contact form

  • Asks for your details before it gives you anything.
  • Collects a free-text message that usually says “I would like more information”.
  • Produces an enquiry nobody can prioritise against any other enquiry.
  • Leaves you waiting to find out whether it was worth filling in.
  • Tells the person receiving it nothing about your area, capacity or follow-up.

This page

A diagnostic

  • Gives you the result first, then asks who you are.
  • Collects six structured answers that change what would actually be built.
  • Arrives with an area, a focus, a capacity figure and a follow-up picture attached.
  • Can be abandoned at any point, with nothing sent.
  • Publishes its own scoring rubric, so the result can be checked rather than trusted.

Questions about the assessment

Reasonable objections.

Is this a sales call in disguise?

No. The readiness result is calculated in your browser and shown before any details are requested. You can read it and close the page, and nothing has been sent.

What if my answers are unflattering?

There is no answer on this page that disqualifies anyone. “Nobody consistently” and “it varies” are the two most useful answers here, because they point at the cheapest thing to fix.

Do I have to give an email address?

No. Phone is required because that is how a property enquiry gets returned. Email is optional and is used to send you a copy of what you submitted.

What happens if I have JavaScript disabled?

The six questions and the details form still work and still submit. Only the readiness result needs JavaScript, because it is calculated in your browser rather than on a server.

Can I run this for more than one area?

Yes, and it is worth doing. Run it once per area. A single-suburb answer and a whole-metro answer produce different recommended tests from the same pipeline type.

How long does the assessment take?

Six questions, one screen at a time, with a back button. There is no timer, and nothing is submitted until you press send.
